2011 HAMPSHIRE LIONS CLUB GOLF OUTING JUNE 17, 2011 RANDALL OAKS GOLF CLUB AND BANQUETS
We would like to invite you to a day of fun, golf, good food, and fellowship. Yes, we are talking about the 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament sponsored by the Hampshire Lions Club. The Hampshire Lions Club uses the proceeds from this charity event to support Lions charities, which include aiding the blind, hard of hearing, underprivileged children, and other worthwhile community activities. The tournament this year will be held on Friday June 17th, 2011 at Randall Oaks Golf Club and Banquets on Binnie Road just west of Randall Road in West Dundee, IL. It will be a Shotgun Start at 12:30 pm with registration beginning at 11:00 am.
TEAM Prizes awarded in both the Handicap Flight and the Scramble Flight will be paid on a per player basis. In the Handicap Flight, first place will pay $300 ($150/golfer) and second place will pay $200 ($100/golfer). In the Scramble Flight, first place will pay $600 ($150/golfer), second place will pay $400 ($100/golfer), third place pays $200 ($50/golfer) and fourth place pays $100 ($25/golfer). Men will play from the white tees and women will play from the red tees. The Handicap Flight will be a partners, two-person, one best score event, based on 80% of verified USGA or organized league handicaps. Each member of a team must have an established handicap to be eligible to play for the prize money in the Handicap Flight. The Scramble Flight will be made up of four person teams. If you are unable to put a four person team together and would like to participate in the Scramble Flight, the golf committee will accommodate you with a team. The entry fee is $100 per person, IF SUBMITTED BY June 1, 2011, which includes 18 holes of golf, a riding cart, Prime Rib dinner, and prizes. After June 1, the entry fee will be $110 per player. Tournament entrants must have their Entry Form, complete with each partners handicap (not required for Team Scramble Flight), along with checks payable to the Hampshire Lions Club returned by June 14, 2010 to any golf committee member. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED AT CHECK IN. If you should have any questions, feel free to call any member on the entry form or contact us at lions@hampshirelions.org.
